got a call from a lady with a really thick foreign accent claiming she was ringing on behalf of carphone warehouse. kept telling her i wasn’t interested multiple times but she just wouldn’t stop until finally she gave up and ended the call. definitely sounded like a scam to me. the number started with 0121 do 7

When I requested they take my phone number and address off their list, they started acting all rude. They kept asking if I was a mechanic and what I’d do if the car broke down. I said yeah, I am, and I’d sort it out myself. Then they got all patronising, questioning what kind of mechanic I was and even accused me of lying. Really put me off.
