Had three calls today on my mobile, all different London numbers but saying the same stuff! It was a woman, and after me asking her to slow down and talk proper a few times, she claimed she works for ‘mobile uk’. She was pushing some £30 a month deal. Kinda annoying, I don’t know who’s been handing out my number. Getting three in a single day is just bonkers, let alone spread over months! Really frustrating.

Received a call purporting to be from Currys PC World, insisting I was in line for an upgrade to an iPhone 13! However, when quizzed about which local retail park he was supposedly based at, he stumbled and couldn't provide an answer. Furthermore, he seemed utterly clueless about any specifics regarding my account. Definitely a dodgy encounter!

Absolutely agree, this is clearly a dodgy operation. I've received numerous silent calls from various 020 numbers as well throughout the day.

Naturally, I was curious about who was on the other end, but with her thick Asian accent, I really struggled to catch the name of the company she mentioned. Even when she repeated it, nothing clicked - it seemed quite unfamiliar. Then she asked the same question again, and it dawned on me that it was likely a scripted conversation. So, I decided to end the call.
