Got a call from someone saying they were O2, but it was totally a scam. Stay careful!

My phone showed this number as “let’s party entertainment” but when I picked up, it was obviously a call centre with loads of noise in the background. After I said hello, they claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. I asked how they got my number, and they insisted I was a customer, which I definitely am not. I told them to take my number off their list and said I’d report them to the telephone protection service for scamming. The guy just said, “do what you want, I'm not bothered,” then just hung up on me.

Annoying bunch of charlatans from some entertainment firm, I keep getting their calls which I didn’t ask for! Tried ringing them back, but surprise, surprise-no one answers! Absolute pillocks...

I chose not to pick up, but later looked it up online and glad I didn’t take the call.

My phone just rang from this number but it stopped before I could pick up. When I tried calling back from my landline, it said the number couldn’t be reached. Seems like it might be some kind of scam? Same experience here.
