Looks like a dodgy UK number, it all starts with +44 - classic scam. After they get your details, they probably try to steal your identity. Best to just ignore them. I've been blocking every call I get from different numbers they use. I warned one bloke I knew it was a scam and said I’d block him, then he got pretty nasty, saying he’d keep ringing every half hour on a new number - and he did for a few hours straight. I blocked all those numbers and reported everything to the police and my phone provider. Stay safe and don’t engage with these lot!

This person spoke with an Indian accent and when I answered, they were talking to someone else in Indian language before suddenly yelling "hello hello". I just hung up straight away. No clue who they actually are or where they're calling from but I’d steer clear of them.

Its a scam call, been getting loads from them for ages now. Theyre not daft, they ring from loads of different numbers and dont even say anything or leave a voicemail, making it much harder to report them. I've signed up to the TPS but these nuisance calls keep coming, even though there are big fines for these types of calls.

The person on the line had a strong Indian accent and said his name was "David Parker." He tried to sell me a new iPhone and asked if I wanted one. I told him no, then he asked if I was tied into a contract. I said no again. Then he got all loud, shouting, "Why you calling me then, ma'am? You just wasting my time!" I ended the call there since this was a call I received.

020 8954 4497 called me claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I don’t have any links with Carphone Warehouse and checked with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), who said this isn’t their number but rather some impersonators. The TPS told me they can’t trace the source of these calls, so it’s unclear who’s behind them. Honestly, I just hang up straight away once I figure it’s a dodgy call, so not sure what they’re after.

Got a call about a “limited time offer” from Three for an iPhone 13 at £30 a month for 24 months. When I rang Three directly to check, they said it was a scam and they don’t have any deals like that nor did they call me. The person on the phone was pushing for loads of personal details and spoke really fast in a strong Indian accent, calling himself Michael Woo. Plus, they use loads of different phone numbers to try and trick you - watch out!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse. Classic sign it was a scam was the awkward pause after I picked up before she spoke. I told her nicely I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away. Then I blocked the number. I feel sorry for the woman though, she probably just needs work and is told to make these annoying calls. Dunno who can put a stop to these firms, but I really wish all these spam calls would just stop.
