Received a dubious call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse. When I inquired about how they obtained my number, the caller claimed it was from Vodafone, acting on behalf of Carphone Warehouse. The strange part is, I don’t have any accounts or dealings with either of those companies. I insisted they erase my information as they clearly lack consent under GDPR regulations to contact me. Suddenly, the line went dead.
