It appears to be some sort of persistent organisation called Cardata claiming they have interested parties for your vehicle. We requested they share our contact information and then promptly ended the call. Later on, they rang back, but this time we answered in a rather posh accent, saying, “Welcome to Ofcom...” Since then, we haven’t had a peep from them!

Another call received inquiring about the sale of our car.

I listed my car for sale using Trade This and now my phone hasn’t stopped ringing! I've had at least fifteen calls already. This is utterly unacceptable, it feels like harassment!

We had an entire contact list on our mobile with numbers like this! They all claim to sell you a car! But I really do wonder, how are these sorts of companies still operating? Why haven't they been apprehended yet? They're just out here conning folks and taking their hard-earned cash!

I've received numerous calls from this and a handful of other London numbers ever since we listed our car for sale last week. It seems like they're all keen to try and make an offer on our vehicle!

Blimey, those absolute scoundrels are really getting on my nerves!

It's astonishing how many of these sorts of numbers are floating about in our contacts! Everyone's keen to offload our car, but seriously, why do these scamming outfits still operate? Why on earth have they not been apprehended yet? It's downright scandalous that these con artists continue to swindle hard-earned cash from unsuspecting folks!

I received a call inquiring whether our vehicle was still available for sale. It feels alarmingly similar to a magazine soliciting us for a price listing, doesn’t it? Quite the cheeky approach, if you ask me!

It seems these pesky callers just can’t take a hint, even after you’ve informed them the car has been sold! If you're looking for a clever way to give them a runaround, I've got a brilliant suggestion. Simply hop onto a variety of double glazing sites and ask for quotes on a bunch of windows and doors. When doing so, use this number as your own and throw in a London postcode for good measure. Go for names like Mr. Ford or Mrs. Volvo to keep them thoroughly bemused. You’ll have them scratching their heads for ages!

Had yet another call regarding details about the sale of our car.

Just like the other rings mentioned, this one's a total farce and utterly pointless! It's all about making money and has no genuine value whatsoever!

I was told that these individuals would have our car ready in a mere 14 weeks for a fee of £99.50, which was supposedly refundable upon selling our vehicle. Absolute nonsense, if you ask me. Just a bunch of chancers, honestly!

These folks just won't quit calling, even after you've informed them that the car's been sold. I've found a rather amusing strategy to turn the tables on them. Just hop onto a bunch of double glazing sites and ask for quotes for a plethora of windows and doors. Make sure to use their number as your contact, along with a London postcode. You might even want to go with something cheeky like Mr Ford or Mrs Volvo for name. You'll have them scratching their heads for ages!

We frequently receive calls from the numbers 0208 920 7411 and 0208 920 7412 shortly after we place an advert on Autotrader. When we attempt to return their calls, the response is merely a casual "hi," without any introduction or indication of their identity. In an attempt to deter their persistent inquiries, we've started to falsely claim that the vehicle has already been sold.

We’ve got an entire list of those numbers saved in our phones! Everyone’s keen to sell our car! But seriously, why on earth are these kinds of businesses still around? Why haven’t these individuals been apprehended yet? They're just conning people out of their hard-earned cash!

It’s rather akin to a publication trying to solicit us to feature our car while it’s still up for grabs, isn’t it? I can’t help but feel there’s probably a fee involved.

I received two calls in quick succession from the same number. After signing up to list a car on Autotrader, these calls started coming in. Quite frankly, it’s rather unacceptable.

Those pesky blighters persist in ringing us non-stop throughout the day, so we keep returning the favour just to wind them up a bit. Honestly, it's quite amusing!
