I received a call from a lady who had a strong Asian accent, trying to persuade me to sign up for an ISA costing £40 a month. I explained quite clearly that I'm on a pension, but she kept pressing me about what I could potentially manage to pay monthly. I repeated that my pension leaves me with no extra funds for such things.
