Got a call from someone saying they’re from a 'home appliance refund' business. They told me I’d apparently been charged too much for an appliance and was due some money back. But when I asked them what appliance they were talking about or which bank account was used, they had no answers. Then, just as I pressed for more info, they hung up on me.

Someone called me saying they worked for a company that refunds money on domestic appliances cause I supposedly paid too much. They couldn’t tell me what appliance it was or even which bank account was used to pay. Then as soon as I asked for more info, they just hung up on me. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a company giving refunds for domestic appliances. They told me I’d been charged too much and was due money back. But the weird thing was, they didn’t seem to know what appliance it was or even which bank account made the purchase. When I pressed them for more info, the line just went dead on me.
