Got a call from someone saying they’re from a 'home appliance refund' business. They told me I’d apparently been charged too much for an appliance and was due some money back. But when I asked them what appliance they were talking about or which bank account was used, they had no answers. Then, just as I pressed for more info, they hung up on me.

This so-called domestic appliance refund service reached out to me, asserting that I've been charged too much for some sort of household gadget, and that I'm due for a refund. The catch? They couldn't specify what the appliance was or even how I made the payment for it. Intrigued, I probed further for more information, but as soon as I asked for specifics, they hung up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be with a "domestic appliance reimbursement" firm, insisting that I've been overcharged on a household item and that I was due for a refund. Strangely enough, they couldn't tell me the specifics of the appliance in question, nor did they have any information regarding the bank account used to make the purchase. Upon pressing them for further clarification, they promptly hung up. Seems rather fishy, if you ask me!
