Received a call purporting to be from BT, insisting that my broadband connection had been compromised and was being misused by others. The whole conversation felt rather shoddy-there was a noticeable foreign accent, and I could hear a lot of commotion in the background. Quite suspect, if you ask me!

Nearly every day I get a phone call from different numbers where the person claims to be from BT and says my broadband is hacked or something. The line is always terrible and the caller sounds like they’re speaking English as a second language. It’s been happening for a couple of weeks now and honestly, it’s getting really irritating.
