A woman with an accent called me, saying she was from Amazon’s fraud team about an iPhone purchase I supposedly made recently. It was obviously a con. When I asked her name so I could jot it down, she just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Accounts. He started telling me about how much I'd supposedly paid in phone bills and praised me for being a prompt payer. Then he mentioned I was on Direct Debit, which isn’t true. After that, he offered some sort of service upgrade (I can't quite remember the exact details) and asked for my bank's name. That’s when I cut him off and dialled 1471 to check the number. Turns out, it was actually Domino's Pizza pretending to be BT!

I always pick up, but no one's ever on the other end.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from Openreach, said they were fixing the exchange and wanted to “boost” my broadband. Then he asked about the lights showing on my router. Felt totally dodgy, like a proper scam. This ain't the first time I’ve had these calls from different numbers. Just block and ignore them!

I called this number and ended up speaking with Domino’s Pizza - surely they must be aware someone’s messing around with their phone line?
