Got a voicemail that sounded like it was in either Japanese or Chinese. I’m from England, so I had no clue who it could be or what it was about! Definitely feels like a big con to me! 🚫 I’ve BLOCKED the number right away.

This has to be a total rip-off. Got a call from someone saying they’re from a phone company telling me my number’s gonna be disconnected in two days, and they said I’d be hit with a £2600 charge on my UK bank account. Sounds dodgy to me!

I got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying I supposedly took out a contract ages ago and now owe them a load of money. She said if I didn’t pay up, they’d cut off my phone line. That’s a total con because they dialled me on a number that’s definitely not with O2, plus they mentioned a number that isn’t even mine. The lady claimed my identity had been stolen and tried to get me to hand over my personal details. Be careful though, the real trouble begins if you give them any info - that’s when the identity theft really kicks off.
