I recently received a call from a chap with a strong foreign accent who introduced himself as David from TechAviators. Coincidentally, I was online with my partner when he provided the phone number. He was incredibly insistent about not being a scam artist and urged me to carry out some tasks on my computer. However, I quickly realised he was certainly up to no good. I made it clear that we were going to involve the authorities, but he seemed unfazed by my threat. After that, I ended the call. When I attempted to ring the number back, it had been disconnected. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number, and the individuals on the other end claimed to be from "Windows Technical Support." They insisted there was an issue with my computer. They were pressing me to switch on my device, but I wasn't having any of it and declined to proceed any further. One chap mentioned his name was David Brown.

17:55 25th May 2011. I've just had a call from a company claiming to be Global Tech, using the very same number as previously mentioned. A chap with a foreign accent introduced himself as Nick Robinson, although he seemed to be calling from India. He went on about some supposed infections affecting computers in my vicinity and mentioned affiliations with Norton and AVG security. Don't be taken in by this nonsense! I suggest hanging up immediately and avoiding sharing any personal details. Stay vigilant!

I've had these chaps call me twice now. They claimed there was a virus on my computer linked to my location. They had a foreign accent, and the bloke wouldn't even tell me his surname; he identified himself as 'Peter'. I contacted the company, Tech Aviator, and he was trying to coax me into logging onto my computer and following some dubious instructions. Total charlatans, if you ask me! I told him I'd do a bit of research first before returning the call. What a laugh!

Received a call from this number earlier. The chap on the line introduced himself as "Windows Technical Support" and mentioned some issues with our computer. He was rather insistent that we should switch on the device, but we weren't having any of it, so that was as far as the conversation went. Does it sound like a dodgy scam to anyone else?
