We received a call from this number at our workplace, and the individuals claimed they were representing a legal firm. They suggested that a legal matter was somehow linked to our name and national insurance number. However, they were extremely vague and refused to provide any specific information. In a moment of naivety, we called the number back, only to find it led to a voicemail service. My partner did a bit of digging and discovered that this number is registered in China. Definitely not something we want to pursue any further!

A rather dodgy call came through earlier, claiming we had an outstanding debt and threatening us with court action by tomorrow. We asked for any official correspondence regarding this but received no satisfactory response since we genuinely do not owe anything. They insisted that the police would show up at our workplace to ask questions, and that we could be facing charges multiple times over. It was quite alarming, to say the least. After some deliberation, we realised there truly was no ground for their claims. We attempted to contact the same rather rude individual again, only to be met with more hostility. She bluntly told us not to waste their time and warned us to brace ourselves for potential arrest tomorrow.

This number got in touch with us, and I must say, they were rather audacious! They left a voicemail that essentially implied we needed a solicitor or something of the sort. Quite concerning, to say the least!

We received a call from this individual who went by the initial 'N'. They were making accusations and insisted that we owed them some cash, oddly aware of our National Insurance Number.

Cheers for the info! Just wondering, what other blocks or numbers might we be able to look into?

If you scroll down to the end of the page and select the section labelled "other 02 numbers," you'll find a plethora of similar numbers linked to the same calls. Usually, when you try to ring back, nobody picks up. Honestly, it's best not to bother; it seems like a scam that, sadly, some individuals have fallen victim to.

We've received another pair of messages on our landline and one on our mobile, all from the same amusing characters. Each time, they claim it’s the final attempt from them and insist that we give them a bell, as if that's ever going to happen!!!!

I recently received a call from these individuals and, honestly, I was on the brink of handing over some cash to them, as we simply don't have the means to cover the court fees they were blabbering on about. We're already knee-deep in debt, so they've really caught us off-guard. However, when I insisted on knowing which company supposedly lent us the money, the chap abruptly said no and hung up. It’s glaringly obvious this is a scam. I’m grateful I stumbled upon these discussions; it’s crucial to spread the word about this. Many folks, like myself, might be tempted to hand over their hard-earned cash!

Just disregard this; we received the initial communication this afternoon. I've been inquiring all day, and it seems like a scam, so please don’t return the call.

We've just had a phone call at work informing us that we're being served with papers regarding some debt tomorrow. The thing is, we're completely baffled as to who we supposedly owe money to - we have no memory of borrowing any funds. Can anyone advise us on what our next steps should be? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It appears that these individuals are relentless in their pursuit, as evidenced by the messages we've received, which essentially conveyed that this is our final opportunity to return their call. Good luck with that! Regardless, we actually answered their call this afternoon and greeted them with a cheerful “hello - police station,” which clearly rattled them. We repeated this three times, to which the caller, who sounded Indian or Pakistani, insisted that it wasn’t the case. Eventually, we just hung up. We've made sure to report this to the appropriate channels noted above.

By the way, if these individuals decide to ring you up once more, make sure to let them know you’ve shared the details with your solicitor and that they’ll be reaching out shortly. I’ve come across numerous posts today about this, and it’s quite apparent that it’s a complete scam. Likely, they’ll hang up straight away!

I appreciate the support; I'm feeling slightly more at ease now. Nonetheless, it's terribly unsettling to receive threats like that while at my place of employment.

I received a rather perplexing call from these individuals who mentioned we supposedly have a case filed against us, and they were inquiring if we required legal representation. They instructed me to return the call and speak to a different representative. To be honest, I'm quite unclear on what this was all insinuating.
