I've received an endless stream of calls from this number. When I tried to call them back, the individuals just regurgitated what others have mentioned before. Once I told them that we didn’t owe any money and couldn't quite understand what the chap on the line was on about, he abruptly hung up. Upon redialling, they claimed they couldn't hear me and promptly cut the call again. They've even reached out to my workplace!

Does anyone happen to know which company is behind this number? We've just received a call from them, and they mentioned that if we don’t call back-either myself or my solicitor-it won't be beneficial for us. We did try reaching out to the number, but all we got was a voicemail and no one has returned our call. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Do you think it might be wise to flag this?

Listen up folks, steer clear of ringing these lot back. That’s precisely the reaction they’re after. What we’re dealing with here could either be a shady premium rate call or a tactic to show that they’ve got you rattled and in a vulnerable position, making you more likely to acquiesce. The mere fact that they’re armed with your details and are ousting the classic line of “I need cash quickly and can’t get to the bank” is a big red flag-it suggests you might be strapped for cash. By throwing around threats of court proceedings and ludicrous sums of money, these chancers aim to intimidate you into forking over something-essentially pressuring you into a payment. So, don’t fall for it!

What exactly are we trying to come to an agreement on?

We've just encountered the very same issue a mere five minutes ago, and it's clearly a scam. We're considering seeking legal guidance on this matter, as it certainly doesn't seem right.

Earlier today, we received a rather alarming call suggesting that we are being taken to court. At the time, we were driving, so we had to pull over to the side of the road. The person on the line claimed they couldn’t share any details and insisted that we should ring back when we had a moment to spare. Upon calling back, we were told that United Kingdom Cash Advance was pressing three charges against us, and that court papers would be delivered on Tuesday. They also mentioned that our employer would be notified about this. The company purportedly operates out of London. When we attempted to call again, our efforts were met with a recorded message directing us to leave a voicemail. It's all rather unsettling, to say the least.

Just a quick note before I sign off for the day! I've been trawling through various online forums, and I’ve noticed this number popping up quite frequently. It seems like these folks are embarking on a rather extensive marketing blitz. So, no need to let it bother you-just enjoy your weekend and don’t let it get you down!

Last month we acquired the same ring, and today we've learned it's precisely the same story we've been told - apparently, it's all a scam.

We received a call from this number, and it was rather unsettling. The callers seemed to know our names and accused us of being involved in some sort of scam or fraudulent behaviour. They went on about an affidavit and insisted they would read something to us, instructing us not to say a word until they were finished. Naturally, we hung up, feeling quite perplexed. Upon calling back to clarify what was happening-threatening to involve the police if necessary-the woman on the other end suddenly cut the line. Quite bizarre, I must say. We tried again, asking for the name of their company, but instead of answering, she just hung up on us. This whole incident has left us thoroughly confused and concerned. What on earth was that all about?

So, what exactly is the goal of these individuals when they resort to intimidation tactics against us?

I just received a call from the number mentioned above about five minutes ago, and was told that legal action is being initiated against me. When I inquired about the details, the chap on the line said I'd need to ring another number for clarification. If anyone else has experienced the same sort of thing, you really ought to note it down here. It's absolutely unacceptable to be treated like this. I'm planning to seek legal advice because this is a serious worry for not just me, but possibly for others too.

Do keep me posted when you make any progress, and I'll update you if anything comes up on my end. This whole situation was quite far from accurate, to say the least!

Allison, it seems these individuals are attempting to lure you into resolving a bogus allegation against you. Expect to receive numerous calls and perhaps even a few letters. In essence, their motive is purely financial, and rest assured, they are far from being genuine.

We've just received a call from this number, making threats about a potential lawsuit. They've even reached out to my workplace, leaving a rather alarming message claiming they have a legal issue with us. Naturally, this has left us feeling quite anxious, especially given that they're involving my job. We tried to return the call, but it appears the mailbox is full, leaving us with no way to respond. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Hi there! Just received a call a mere five seconds ago from the same number. We're planning to seek some legal counsel because it's absolutely unacceptable that we're experiencing this too, just as you have. These callers refuse to give us any information, only telling us to ring a different number. It’s quite infuriating!
