Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, but the phone kept cutting out badly. She said she was calling from BT about some unusual activity on my internet. She asked me to switch on my computer to run a speed test. I’m pretty sure BT doesn’t need you to do that yourself - they can check your connection from their side without a dodgy call. Plus, she didn’t know my BT account number. Something felt off, so I’m guessing it’s a scam. Not totally sure though, so I’m labelling it as harassment and blocking the number.
