Today I got a phone call from a lady with an Indian accent, sounded like she was working in some call centre. She claimed to be from BT Openreach, telling me my computer was under attack by hackers. When I asked her questions, she insisted that no matter what security I had, it wouldn’t stop the hack. I told her I’d ring back later and she gave me this number. I’ve since looked up the number on different sites and nearly all of them say it’s a scam, so just watch out for this one.
