I tried calling three times this week but didn’t get any answer.

This was clearly a con. Some bloke claiming to be from a boiler service company rang me up and said they could cut my cover down to £180 a year. They didn’t even ask what brand or how old my boiler was! Mine’s pretty ancient and I pay just £50 a year for servicing it. It’s never been insured before and it’s worked perfectly fine for years. By the way, the caller was Kevin from some Asia COO or something like that.
