We were getting bombarded with calls before, but since setting it up, we haven’t had a single unwanted one. I’d definitely suggest getting the BT phone with the 100% call blocker feature. We get loads of unwanted calls but none of them actually ring through, which is brilliant. The phone only lets calls come through if the number's saved in your contacts, or else it gives you the choice to hear a recorded message first, so you can decide if you want to pick up or just send it to voicemail. Another survey call, seriously!! When is this gonna stop??

Got quite a few calls this year. Every time I pick up, the person on the other end just drops the call straight away.

The phone started ringing at 8:50, and on the line was someone asking for a name I didn’t recognise. I seem to be inundated with at least two calls daily, and it’s becoming quite tiresome. In frustration today, I firmly told the caller to just GO AWAY!!! Let’s hope that message was sufficiently clear!

I've been receiving persistent calls from this number, and it takes ages for someone to actually get on the line-sometimes close to a minute. They seem to have a few details about me, and they have the gall to request a solid ten minutes of my time for a survey, all while they’re clearly angling for more sensitive information. When I pushed back and asked where they got my personal details, the bloke shouted a profane insult and hung up before I could even mention the Telephone Preference Service. I checked this number through BT’s 1471, and it came up as 0208 791 8841, but when I tried ringing it back, it was an unrecognised number. Anyone who tries to cover their tracks like that has something dodgy going on. I advise treating this lot with extreme caution!

I received four calls today, and after doing a spot of digging, it turns out it’s just a marketing firm fishing for leads to peddle. Best not to divulge any personal information to them.

I keep getting bombarded with calls from this number-at least three or four times daily. It's always the same bloke, sporting a thick Indian accent or something similar, who introduces himself as John. The very first time he rang, he asked if he was speaking to Mr David (which is my first name), to which I replied that Mr David didn’t reside here and promptly hung up. He’s incredibly relentless, claiming that I had requested him to ring back, which is absolute nonsense. Just yesterday, he mentioned he was affiliated with a company called 'Connecting People.' I told him I had zero interest in dating services (that's certainly the vibe the name gives off) and hung up yet again. This morning alone, I’ve received another couple of calls from him. This cold calling nonsense has escalated into a real bother, bordering on harassment in my book. Something must be done about it!

They keep pestering me, ringing up to three times a day! I can't seem to get rid of them-they just switch to another number, like 03331369487, or they call from a blocked line. My partner informed them that we've just moved in, and yet, they continue to bother me. Even my daughter mentioned that she's a new tenant too, but the calls just won’t stop!

I've been inundated with 3 or 4 calls a day from this number over the past week. The chap on the line claims to be called John and speaks with quite a strong Indian accent. On the first occasion he rang, he asked if I was Mr. David - that's my first name, mind you. I promptly informed him that Mr. David doesn’t reside here and ended the call. Despite that, they keep trying to get through! Just yesterday, the fellow mentioned he was representing a company named 'Connecting People,' which frankly gives off more of a dating vibe than anything else, doesn't it? It’s become so bothersome that I’m tempted to ditch this phone altogether; these incessant calls are relentless! I really think it’s high time for telecommunications regulators to take action and put a stop to these annoyances, rather than leaving us to deal with them on a daily basis. Cold calls of all varieties-be it PPI, solar panels, double glazing, you name it-should be outlawed once and for all!

It feels like there’s no end to these incessant calls! I receive numerous every single day, and alas, blocking them on my device doesn’t seem to do any good - they simply ring through on a different number, as is the case on my mobile. I've explored every possible option, but they consistently inquire for Mrs Robert, using my husband’s first name. At this point, I’ve resorted to just hanging up after informing them time and again that Mrs Robert is not a resident here!

I often tell them their name sounds kind of strange since they have a really strong Asian accent. Most of the time, they just hang up once I go quiet. Turns out, ignoring them like they do to us works pretty well too.

They keep calling non stop for hours on end. When I pick up and mention I'm ex-directory and on the TPS, they just say it doesn't affect them. Ive even said I'll report them to the police but they dont seem bothered. I've had to get a bt phone with a call blocker now, which works most of the time (until they switch numbers again).

0208 7918841 Got a call from some bloke speaking with an accent trying to hawk me something. I told him I wasn’t interested and mentioned that I’m on the TPS list. He just kept jabbering on, so I ended up blowing a referee’s whistle right down the phone loudly. Dunno why, but he hung up before he could finish his spiel. Maybe he’ll ring back once his ears recover!
