Had a bloke call me saying he was from BT, real condescending tone. Told him I was busy in a video call and didn’t have a minute, but he kept pushing, saying it would be quick. Then he wanted me to run some program on my computer, which raised alarm bells. So I asked him to verify my name and address to prove he was legit, and just like that, he cut the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT about my internet issues. Honestly, I'd be careful, seemed dodgy to me.

Someone rang me pretending to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. I told them everything was fine. They asked how I could be sure since I wasn’t an engineer. I shot back asking how they could be sure I wasn’t one, and then they just hung up. When I tried to call back, the line was dead.
