On my most recent bill, there’s a charge of £28.53 for a 10 minute and 1 second call from the number 66666, which I never actually picked up. I got in touch with Tesco Mobile and they told me the number belongs to something called "Sports Information and Football Advert" with the STD code 02087791733. They suggested I call that number, explain the unauthorised charge and request a refund. When I did call, I was met by an automated message and a menu, so I left a voicemail at the appropriate option. This seems like a scam to me, so I don’t get why nothing is being done given it’s a known London number.
