Got a call asking for my personal details about a car I used to own. Seemed a bit off to me.

BEWARE! Got a call claiming to be from EE saying they wanted to offer me a discount to thank me for being a loyal customer. It sounded pretty legit, they even sent me an email with the EE logos, which looked mostly genuine but something felt a bit off. The email came from an @eenetwork.com address, which seemed odd. I reported it straightaway to EE and forwarded the email to [email protected]. I also looked up the number 02087712043, turns out it’s actually linked to “Ann’s Sandwich Bar” in Thornton Heath. Lesson learned - I’ll google any weird numbers in real time from now on!!
