On 9/04/2024, I got this automated message claiming to be from BT. It said something about my internet being used for illegal stuff and told me to press 1. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone with a strong Asian accent claiming to be from Pakistan - I told him I didn’t buy it. He said he was calling from BT and accused me of using my phone line for something dodgy. Then he threatened to shut down the internet across the entire UK in a minute! Not sure what the scam was about exactly, but it felt pretty sketchy and unsettling.
