Since then, this number rings me almost every day but I just let it go to voicemail and don’t pick up anymore.12 yearsI got a call about a holiday rental I have, and the bloke on the other end just said his name was 'Andrew'. I told him it wasn’t available straight away, as I got a bad feeling it was some sort of scam or a sales pitch. He spoke with an Indian accent and seemed a bit caught off guard by my response. Then he asked if I had any other properties I was selling or renting out, saying he had ‘clients’ interested. I told him why would I share that when I don’t even know who he is, especially since he called out of the blue? I wasn’t about to entertain his ‘clients’. I cut the call short before he could say more. Having a holiday let means I get these kinds of calls all the time. Even though I’m on the TPS, it doesn’t stop them. They always start by pretending to be genuinely interested in renting, but really they’re usually trying to get you to buy into some dodgy or pointless property listing site.
