They call from just “international” no number showing, same pattern though, like 6 calls in 4 days. I’ve got a disability and don’t get much sleep at night so a 9am call is really annoying. Feels like they’re just pestering me constantly. There has to be some way to stop these idiots, but I can’t block all international calls cuz my son lives overseas.

I got a call from this number claiming that, since I was on state benefits, I qualified for a new boiler. However, I made it clear that my only benefit is the state pension. I insisted he take my number off his list straight away.

Like others have mentioned, I've been receiving a barrage of calls at various hours recently. I accidentally answered the latest one, and the bloke on the other end was chatting about dispatching a package-news to me! I quickly interjected with a firm "No, don't" before he abruptly hung up. What’s quite unsettling is that he had my full first name and address, which is a bit concerning. Got a call from an asian guy about my boiler. He knew my name but kept talking over me when I tried to answer. I just said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. This number’s definitely blocked now.

Got a call from an Asian sounding woman about some Free Energy Plan. I told her my number was blocked (which it is) and said that her company was making her do something against the rules (also true). She just hung up on me!

Got a call from a bloke who didn’t sound like English was his first language. He said it was about some government plan to swap out boilers and that sort of thing. Asked if we owned or rented, what sort of place we lived in, and what heating we’d got. Told him our heating wasn’t on his list, but he kept pushing through his options and still couldn’t figure it out (our heating's waste to energy). He then claimed the government would replace all the radiators in our house for free. That’s when I hung up.

I've received a barrage of ten calls from a company named "resolutions." The most recent ones came from various numbers-02661709995, 02381184411, and 02030049346 among them. It’s quite infuriating! I keep blocking these numbers on my phone, yet they just keep coming through on different ones. Honestly, I struggle to make out what the caller is saying half the time. As for the Telephone Preference Service, I've been registered with it for ages now.

A bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, claiming it was about some Green Energy Scheme for swapping boilers. I told him I’m on the TPS and he shouldn’t be ringing me. Even though I’m fed up with these nonstop calls, I stayed really polite - unlike him, who just hung up on me!

Once again, I've been plagued by an irritating cold call from an individual with a rather foreign accent, who was quite discourteous, to say the least. They claimed to be discussing green energy solutions and boiler replacements, but when I attempted to return the call, there was absolutely no response! Got a call from this number earlier today. I asked who they worked for and they said ‘England Claim Service’. They somehow already had my postcode, house number and street name, then told me I could claim PPI on a loan from about 10 years back. When I asked them to send me some info, the woman said she’d connect me to their ‘paper department’ - never heard of a ‘paper department’ before, haha! I just hung up and quickly blocked the number.

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming he was ringing about a boiler. When I asked "why are you calling me?" he just snapped back, "are you even hearing me? boiler, b-o-i-l-e-r?" I told him he just barged into my day without checking if I had time, and now he’s telling me I’m listening to him. His cheeky response was "why are you wasting my time?" Even with all that reverse psychology, I don’t actually own a boiler.

thanks to everyone who shared their experiences with this number - ive been getting a busy tone whenever i call back and decided its not worth the hassle. last week i did ring back another odd number that called me, people said they were from haart residential - i was curious if there was a link? that other number sounded like a legit call centre with british accents, it was 01206 812065. but since that chat all ive had are the 0208 calls, which is a bit strange.

A bloke with an Indian accent called me saying I was owed a refund on a loan I supposedly took out around 2008 to 2011. He claimed I should get some money back even though I'd already paid it off. When I asked him which company the loan was with, he refused to say. I kept pressing him for details and then he just hung up. Definitely a scam.

They claimed to be from bbr research and said I had a loan, offering help with a refund. They went over loads of info before connecting me to someone else. They told me not to mention the details to the ‘advisor’. Said I'd get a letter from the loan company, but instead they put me on to the ‘advisor’ who started asking loads of questions. I hadn’t given any of my info before then, so when he asked, I said it sounded like a scam. They just hung up on me.

Heads up, these lot rang my husband claiming he had a bank loan and had been paying PPI on credit cards and loans. They even had our full address and postcode. When he asked who they were, they just said they’re a private firm wanting to help recover money owed. Tried calling them back but the line’s always busy. Anyone got a clue who these people might be?
