Got a call about “renewing” my washing machine insurance, with them saying the price had dropped. I told them I hadn’t got any reminder in the post, and the lady said it was because of Covid and delays with the mail, so ringing customers was their plan to handle renewals quicker. I said I’d look over my documents and ring them back, but then the line just went dead.

Got a call from this number earlier, and it was definitely a scam. They said my washing machine’s warranty was about to run out and offered to renew it, but of course, I’d have to pay. They were actually trying to get my Visa card info. Total nonsense!

Got a call about extending insurance on my washer, but I’ve still got nearly five years left on mine. I asked which brand they were talking about and it turned out to wasn’t even the right one! As soon as I pointed that out, they just hung up. Feels like they were gonna try and charge me for something I didn’t need if I hadn’t been careful!
