I received a call from a lady named Julie, representing an outfit called Habitat and Lifestyle, regarding a survey that supposedly would only take a minute. She kept insisting I confirm my name, which she erroneously referred to as my husband’s. I pointed out that my name isn’t typically associated with men! The conversation continued in a rather redundant loop for over a minute, with me countering her questions. In the end, she just ended the call. It seems to depend on how I’m feeling at the time; I tend to engage with them, and they’re unable to stray from their pre-written lines!

Just received yet another silent call, this time from a different number. I can’t help but think it’s yet another one of those persistent salespeople, possibly from Asia, attempting to exploit a vulnerable elderly person. I've gone ahead and blocked the number using BT Call Protect. What a nuisance!
