Some bloke called claiming to be from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address had switched from private to public. He asked if I’d done anything the day before to cause it. I said no. Then he began explaining what had to be fixed, speaking with a faint Indian accent. Since it was super early - about 7:56 in the morning - I got suspicious this was dodgy and just told him to jog on!
