I got a call from a number that Whocalledme.co.uk says is linked to someone pretending to be Marks and Spencer. They were chatting about a washing machine but sounded really dodgy. Loads of folks say they try to get your address and other personal info. The caller kept mumbling and never properly answered when I asked who they actually were. Definitely a scam if you ask me.

Didn't pick up, no idea who it was, probably just one of those cold calls.

Received a call purporting to be from Jay at Carphone Warehouse regarding some promotion. My number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I have no dealings with CPW. I courteously declined their offer. After doing a bit of digging, it seems the call follows the usual suspicious pattern associated with the notorious ‘CPW’ scam. Best to just disregard it!
