Got a call from a London number but the person had a really strong Indian accent. These calls often use local area codes around here to make it seem legit. Seems like some people are buying these numbers just to trick us into thinking they’re not actually calling from Delhi, but they definitely are. Since a lot of admin stuff moved to India, I guess our info is out there and we’re just stuck with the consequences now. Feels like we’ve basically handed them an easy win. What a mess!

The call showed up as 020 and I figured it was probably something official or important, but when I answered, no one spoke and the line just cut out straight away. Quite weird really.
