Got a call from a number with the 0208 code, but I’ve blocked that code since I don't know anyone in London sending me calls. It’s likely from Tamar Telecom. Lately, loads of calls from that region seem linked to those free boiler or loft insulation scams. I’ve also blocked loads of other codes like 0118, 0113, 0115, 0131 and a bunch more because they’re usually tied to dodgy calls. If your call blocker lets you block entire area codes and you don’t recognise callers from those places, it’s best to just block them and ignore any calls coming through from there.
