I got a call from someone who said they were from Openreach in London. I use Plusnet for internet, which I know is a part of BT but they seem to run on their own. I ended the call pretty quickly cause I heard there had been some scam calls like this one going around nearby just a few days ago.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT about my internet safety. They wouldn’t say what the call was actually about and came across really pushy. Felt like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT wanting to talk to the account holder. But they couldn’t give me the right name or address linked to the account. When I mentioned it sounded like a scam, the caller insisted it wasn’t and said they were calling all the way from London. I wasn’t convinced and ended up just hanging up.
