Got a random call on my home phone at about 3pm on Monday 14th December 2020. Could hear lots of background chatter like it was a call centre. A woman with an Indian accent said her name was Alice and claimed to be from BT, telling me there was an issue with my internet slowing it down. Funny thing is, I had the exact same call just last week. When I told her to be embarrassed and suggested she find a real job instead of trying to scam a pensioner, she just ended the call.
