2 yearsHello Everyone, Just wanted to confirm that this is definitely a scam. The people behind it seem to be based in places like New Delhi or Pakistan. They try to trick you by pretending to be from companies like O2, Vodafone, Three, or Fonehouse. Then, they set up a phone contract with your details and send the phone to your address. They deliberately send a different model so you’ll send it back to a sort of "money mule" who’s usually in Manchester. That person then forwards it back to the scam operation’s head office, and you end up stuck with the bill for the phone. Sadly, I fell for this scam myself - they’re incredibly persuasive. Please be careful and don’t let yourselves get caught out by these clever tricks. If you’re unsure about a call, it’s best to ring the official customer service line and check directly.
