I received a call from someone purporting to be from Fonehouse, trying to sell me an iPhone 14 Pro Max at £42 a month. I told them to call me back in ten minutes, then promptly looked up Fonehouse and found their customer service number. When I called them to inquire about this offer, they confirmed it was a scam and not their number at all. They were kind enough to give me the contact info for the police to report such fraudulent activity. So beware, this number is definitely a scam-best to block it and avoid any interaction!

I received a call from this number, claiming they were offering an iPhone 14 Pro Max for just £35 per month. Given that I've been on the hunt for a new phone, I initially thought it all appeared quite above board. I foolishly provided them my sort code and account number, but when they then requested my 16-digit card number, I realised something was amiss and swiftly ended the call. It's quite unnecessary for them to ask for that if they're merely setting up a direct debit. Feels a bit fishy, doesn’t it? Stay alert, folks!
