I reckon this is a dodgy scheme, probably using info nicked from some data hack. If they’ve got your phone number and you had no clue your details got leaked, it’s best to look into any clubs, groups or even your kids' school you’re connected with and find out if they’ve had a breach recently. Better to be safe than sorry!
