Received a call from this number earlier. A chap on the other end mumbled something about his company, and then proceeded to ask for both my name and my business. He wanted to know if I handled "Accounts Payable" and claimed to be ringing regarding a dodgy unpaid invoice. Now, as a solo operator, I’m well aware of each and every one of my very few suppliers. Since I’d never come across this outfit before, I straight up told him he was trying to pull a fast one and promptly ended the call. I then took the liberty of blocking his number right away!
