This is definitely not Carphone Warehouse. I was due an upgrade this week and right on time the calls began. I’m aware 0208 codes are for West London, but Carphone Warehouse usually rings from an 03 number (although they mostly contact you by email first). The real proof came when I was in the actual CW shop. While sorting out my new deal, the scam number called and the store manager confirmed it wasn’t from them at all. PUT THIS NUMBER ON YOUR BLOCKLIST - NEVER SHARE ANY DETAILS WITH THEM.

It's shocking that my mum, who was in hospital and on strong pain meds (she’s sadly passed away now), got hassled by a salesperson trying to trap her into a contract she never agreed to. Loads of family members have been trying to sort this mess with the Carphone Warehouse, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. You can really tell how good a company is by how they handle problems like this, and this lot just couldn’t care less. Their ‘customer service’ was an absolute farce - rude and completely lacking any empathy. My elderly mum, who’s 80, picked up a call from this number. Some bloke from Carphone Warehouse managed to persuade her to extend her contract by sending her a "backup phone" with the line that she didn’t even need to use it, just to have it in the drawer.
