This is definitely not Carphone Warehouse. I was due an upgrade this week and right on time the calls began. I’m aware 0208 codes are for West London, but Carphone Warehouse usually rings from an 03 number (although they mostly contact you by email first). The real proof came when I was in the actual CW shop. While sorting out my new deal, the scam number called and the store manager confirmed it wasn’t from them at all. PUT THIS NUMBER ON YOUR BLOCKLIST - NEVER SHARE ANY DETAILS WITH THEM.

Claimed to be car phone warehouse. Maybe it is, but when i visited them a year back they were still running Windows XP. !!! Super easy to hack so just block the number and visit in person instead of sharing any details over the phone.

My elderly mother, who’s 80, picked up this phone call and ended up speaking to a salesman from Carphone Warehouse. He deceitfully convinced her to renew her contract by claiming he was sending her a “spare mobile - just tuck it away in a drawer, you don’t have to use it!” Little did she know, he'd actually gone ahead and renewed her contract for that "spare mobile" without her consent! Judging from the other reviews, it's likely from CarPhoneWarehouse. I'm up for an upgrade but holding off till the Samsung S9 drops on the 25th. I've already been in touch with the shop, so I can't see why I'd gotta take a third call from them just to repeat myself.
