Got a call around half past nine in the morning on the 9th of April, 2019. The person on the line claimed to be from some sort of telephone line verification service. It seemed like I was speaking to someone from an Indian call centre. I have a hunch this was a cold call aimed at flogging something. When I requested their company details and UK registration, they abruptly hung up on me.

I received a phone call earlier today from a lady identifying herself as Mrs. Qureshi. She seemed rather keen to know my name, but I refrained from disclosing it, instead inquiring who she was trying to reach. To my surprise, she then questioned whether I was part of a catering service. I promptly clarified that she had indeed dialled the wrong number. She continued by asking for my number, to which I replied, “It’s the one you just rang!” After she recited my mobile number, she inquired if I happened to be on Shaftesbury Road or Street. I informed her that I wasn't. She concluded that she'd clearly been given incorrect details. The call took place at approximately 10:45 in the morning on the 22nd of December, 2016.
