9 yearsI recently received a phone call from this number, with someone probing about whether I'd been involved in a car accident not too long ago. When I inquired who they were representing, I was met with a somewhat dodgy response delivered in a thick Asian accent. The caller continued to press about any recent mishaps on the road. I made it clear that I'd hang up unless they could clarify their intentions. Naturally, I ended the call due to their rather unclear reply. Almost immediately, I was contacted by yet another caller, who again identified themselves as Asian and offered a similarly vague explanation. I couldn’t help but wonder where they had obtained my number and why they felt it appropriate to ring me.9 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from Thorney Croft Solicitors about a crash I had like 3 years back, saying I could get some cash. They were really pushy, kept insisting they'd ring again till I dug up some paperwork. I just told them to ring me again in about three years when I might actually find the documents!Thorney Croft Solicitors10 yearsThis number rang me three times within a few hours, each time someone saying they could assist with a car crash compensation claim. First call I played along and wasted their time, the second I just left them with music, and by the third I told them to buzz off.10 yearsI told him once it was probably a scam, but he rang me again right after. So I just ended the call.10 yearsI received a call from someone purporting to be with MBI Motor Insurance Bureau. When I spoke to the first gentleman, who had a distinctly Asian accent, I expressed my suspicion and ended the call. Almost straight away, a different chap with a similar accent was on the line, claiming we had been disconnected. I probed him for more information about his location, and he provided an address in Watford, along with a mention of an office in Manchester. I insisted that they should communicate through my insurance provider. Subsequently, I contacted my insurance company to report the suspicious call, and they duly noted my concerns about possible fraud.MBI Motor Insurance BureauWatfordManchester10 yearsI just had a couple of calls within a span of three minutes regarding some car crash and both callers had thick Asian accents, and let's just say they were incredibly impolite. I completely lost my cool with the second one, and he had the audacity to keep saying, "I’m doing your mother." I’m absolutely furious and I’m reporting this to the authorities.10 yearsThis number rang me up three times in just ten minutes claimin I’d been in an accident that wasn’t even my fault. I told the bloke with the Asian accent to stop botherin me and to remove my number since I’m on the phone preference service. Didn’t seem to care at all and knocked again. Proper rude and shouty, wouldn’t even listen when I said no.10 yearsGot a call from some bloke saying I'd been in an accident, so I just ended the call straight away. Then he rang me two more times! Luckily, I could block the number. If I really had an accident, I'd be the one phoning my insurance or a proper accident service. I really hope no one gets tricked by these dodgy calls. If you’re not waiting on anything or didn’t ask for a call, it’s almost certainly a scam.10 yearsI had a similar experience myself. On the 16th of January, 2017, I received a call where the individual mentioned something about “an accident I had had.” Then, the very next day, a different number rang me, claiming they’d spoken to my wife regarding this supposed accident. The catch? I don’t have a wife and certainly haven't been in any accidents! Clearly, this is nothing more than a scam!10 yearsI must say, this really gives off strong scam vibes. These callers are quite relentless, attempting to lure you into making claims for an accident they insist you were involved in. I can't help but think this infringes on data protection laws. Moreover, it can definitely be categorized as harassment, considering they keep ringing back despite my rather colourful refusals, made all too clear with some choice words to emphasise my disinterest.10 yearsI keep receiving persistent calls from a bloke who claims to be named "John." He has an Indian accent and insists he's trying to confirm details regarding an accident I allegedly had, but the truth is, I've not had any such incident! I've made it clear that I'm not interested in his inquiries, yet the calls just keep coming, one after the other, without any sign of stopping. It's beyond frustrating!John10 yearsI got a call from a bloke who asked if I’d been in an accident. I said yes, and he asked when it happened. I then wondered if he was after selling me something, but he said no. When he pressed again on the date of the accident, I told him I wasn’t going to answer and asked what he wanted. Suddenly, he started swearing at me, told me to stop messing about and called me a stupid madam. Then the line started crackling. I asked if he just swore at me, and the call ended right there.10 yearsI got a call from a woman twice, and both times she was going on about some accident she said I’d been in. Told her to stop calling, but she just kept ringing anyway.10 yearsHad a rather peculiar experience when a chap with a pronounced Asian accent rang me up, prattling on about an old motor vehicle accident. I wasn't in the mood for a natter, so I politely declined and ended the call. Not moments later, another gentleman with a similar accent called, claiming to be representing Direct Line Insurance. I voiced my suspicions about it being a scam, firmly stating that I wasn’t interested in engaging with him. He shot back, calling me a right rude woman and promptly hung up on me! How delightful. - LEONARDSDirect Line Insurance10 yearsGot a call from a bloke using this number, he wouldn’t reveal his name at first and said he was checking on a car accident for my insurance.
