Earlier today, I received a rather curious phone call from a chap who claimed to be Jason, representing a company called Domestic and General. To my surprise, he knew my name and proceeded to inquire about my household gadgets and their respective warranties. He seemed quite keen to propose some enticing extension deals on these warranties, which initially sounded like a fantastic bargain. However, I couldn't shake off a nagging feeling of doubt, as it all seemed rather too good to be genuine. As it would happen, my instincts were spot on; I've since discovered that both the number and this Jason fellow are associated with scams. What a nuisance!
