Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse pushing an iPhone offer. I told them it seemed fishy since the number that showed up was a local one, which I thought was odd for Carphone Warehouse. As soon as I mentioned that, they just hung up on me. Turns out the number actually belongs to an Indian place in Hayes called Sarasas Restaurant. Looks like the scammer didn’t bother hiding their real number.
