2 yearsThere was a bit of silence before a man with an Asian accent came on the line, speaking English not quite fluently. He introduced himself as Eric and claimed to work for BT, saying he knew my name and that there was some issue with my internet and IP address. Honestly, I felt uneasy straight away. Out of all the BT customers, why pick me to call about a problem? I’ve seen loads of shows about phone scams lately, so I told him I thought this was a con, then hung up and blocked the number.EricBTSubmit Your Own Report (020 8561 7597)
