Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Virgin Media tech support, telling me my router was causing errors. Thing is, she had no clue who I was, which seems odd if she’s really from customer service. Even weirder, she phoned my work landline, not my personal number that’s linked to my Virgin Media account. How do they even get hold of my work number? Definitely a scam. She kept pushing me to listen, but the moment I told her she was calling a company phone, not my personal one, she just hung up on me.
