Pretty clear they're trying some sort of scam, so I'm glad I didn’t answer any of them. I recently changed my phone number after dealing with a similar nuisance that dragged on for over a year. Now I only pick up if I know the area code, and even then, I’m super cautious. Honestly, there should be stricter rules to stop these scam calls - they’re seriously messing people up. I’ve even wondered about the number of tragic outcomes because of this harassment. Some calls are from fake numbers too, pretending to be places like theatres or TV stations. Surely there’s a way to block these so only genuine numbers get through.
