REPAIRHOUSES.CO.UK seems to continually ring me up about my "council repairs," but the truth is, I reside in a private property! This outfit appears to be a genuine entity pursuing no win, no fee claims related to outstanding repairs with councils or landlords. All the voices on the line sounded Indian, which raises my suspicions even though the number is supposedly UK-based. They were insistent on getting my WhatsApp details. I provided them with a dodgy email address I use just for these kinds of scenarios. Based on what I’ve seen from other users' feedback, it seems they’ve shifted focus from chasing ambulances to going after landlords now.

At the start of November, we received a rather peculiar automated message on our landline. It claimed to be from the local police, mentioning some sort of ‘case’ involving us, and prompted us to press '1' for further information. I decided against pressing that button, and since then, there’s been a complete radio silence. I've tried to find out the source of that call, but with no luck so far.

I received a rather suspicious automated call from this number, claiming there was a police matter concerning me. Naturally, curiosity got the better of me, so I pressed 1 and got connected to a gentleman who had a distinctly Asian accent, claiming to be from HMRC. He requested my name and date of birth, to which I replied that he should have that information since his organisation was the one contacting me. Shortly after, he abruptly ended the call. Quite the nerve!
