Got this automated call today from a lady with a British accent pretending to be from 'BT Internet.' She said there was "suspicious activity" on my connection and threatened to cut off my phone and internet unless I pressed 1 to talk to some 'executive' to sort it out. Thing is, I’m not even with BT! It’s just the typical scam trying to scare you into pressing a number. Best thing to do is to hang up straight away, don’t press anything, block the number, and if you can, report it to Action Fraud. Don’t fall for it!
