This number has called me about 15 times in the last few days. I didnt pick up any of them and blocked the number yesterday. Today, it left like 3 voicemails within 2 hours but they were just some random background sounds, no one actually talking.

Got a call from Tui asking if I wanted to upgrade, sounded legit. Told them I wasn’t interested and they just said goodbye and ended the call, no hassle at all.

This number rang me asking about my vacation plans. I was a bit suspicious after reading the reviews, but I popped into the TUI store where I made my booking and they confirmed it was really them calling. They even checked the number in their system and rang it back to prove it.

Just like everyone else, this person knew exactly when and where we were travelling, and kept going on about upgrades non stop. I just let him chat away. Eventually I asked how much the upgrade costs and told him I'd pop into the TUI shop to sort it. After that, he just hung up.

Wonder if he’d be up for flying free, maybe squished on the wing or summat?

Similar to loads of others, the caller claimed to be from TUI and tried to sell me an upgrade to premium seats at a cheaper price, but I said no thanks. Weird thing is, he had all my booking details, from the flight dates right down to the names on the reservation. He didn’t ask me for any payment either, said the upgrade cost would just be added to my account. Smells like some kind of data hack into TUI’s system to me!

About an hour back I got a call from 02084968611 claiming to be from TUI, offering me an upgrade but I said no thanks. Like others have mentioned, they seemed to already know my holiday dates and stuff. They asked me which airport I'd be flying out from and how many people I was going with. I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Tui, trying to get me to upgrade my family to first class. Sounded pretty fishy to me, so I told him I was at work and couldn't chat. He said he'd ring back later this evening. I think I'll ring Tui myself because it's weird how he knew when and where I was travelling, seems like there might be a leak somewhere.

Got a call claiming to be from TUI. Didn’t really buy it, even though they somehow had all my info. Rang TUI and they said it wasn’t them for sure. I’ve now reported it to the Information Commissioner because it really feels like a serious data leak.

Got a call from this number at about 6.49pm saying it was a TUI courtesy call. When asked if all was alright, I just said yes and ended the call. Seems like a scam because calling back just takes you to a TUI voicemail. Reported it to TUI and they told me they wouldn’t ring customers out the blue like that, plus this isn’t a number they’d use. The person on the phone barely spoke English either. Wonder how they even got my number or knew I had a booking? TUI really needs to look into this properly.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. A mate of mine got a call from it yesterday saying they were from TUI and asking how many people were going on the holiday they’d booked and which airport they were flying from. If they really were from TUI, they’d already have that info with the booking, right? They definitely knew the phone numbers though.

Got a call from 02084968611 saying they were from Tui, asking how many of us and where we were flying from. They claimed Tui had special package deals on seat bookings and all. They started quoting prices in Rand! Then suddenly switched to pounds. Told them we’d sort our own travel and ended the call.

Is it TUI or not? That’s the real question here. Even if the number looks like it’s from TUI, it doesn’t guarantee the call is legit. Scammers these days are experts at copying real numbers to trick people. Never trust a cold call and don’t share any personal info with anyone. Unfortunately, that’s just how things are now. If you do need to speak to the company, hang up and ring them back on the number you already have from official documents. Stay cautious, everyone, and make sure to report any scams to the police through ‘action fraud’.

Got a call claiming to be from TUI, they asked how many people were travelling and what airport I was leaving from, which I told them since it didn’t feel like private info. They also asked about upgrades but didn’t try to take any payment, so it seemed legit at first. However, when I rang TUI customer service to double check, they told me it wasn’t their number and it was actually a scam.

Got a call from tui about my holiday next year. They talked about upgrades and stuff but didn’t pressure me or anything, actually felt pretty professional and polite. Usually I’m skeptical when it’s not legit, but this felt real, despite me being super careful these days. They knew everything - holiday dates, who was going and all that.

Got a call from this number about a cruise we’re taking next March 2020. They claimed to be Tui cabin crew checking what cabin number we’d reserved and how many folks are going. I told them if they really worked for Tui they’d already know all that, and then they just ended the call. Like loads of others have said, how on earth do these scammers get hold of this info? Data protection laws mean nothing apparently.
