No idea who that was.

Received a call on the 10th of September in the year 2021, inquiring whether I was interested in renewing some service or another. The individual on the other end spoke with a noticeable foreign accent, quite deliberate in their tone. When I requested a contact number to ring them back later, they instead pushed for my email address. Upon reiterating my wish to return their call, they abruptly disconnected! After perusing the details from the phone lookup service, I’ve come to the conclusion it was a scam attempt and rather dubious!! Beware if you’re in Essex.

Got a couple of missed calls from this number, tried calling back. The bloke on the other end wouldn't tell me who he was from and kept asking for an account number or their company’s postcode which I said I didn't know. After a bit of pushing, he said he was with Lexis Nexis. Feels like a proper scam, probably fishing for personal info! I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent claiming to be from TUI, who somehow had all my booking info and was pushing me to buy a premium upgrade. Wanted £1200 for two seats at first, I said no, then he dropped it to £749, saying only eight seats left at that price. He’s rung me back five times since our chat. I actually booked in store, so I’m gonna pop back there to get their opinion and let them know this hard sell doesn’t feel quite right.

Just got a call from this number. A bloke with an accent claimed he was from TUI or First Choice, mentioned my holiday in July and knew some info. He said it was nothing to worry about and asked if it was a good time to chat, then suddenly hung up. Gonna block this number now, felt a bit dodgy!

A woman with a foreign accent called me from 02084968600 saying she was with TUI. She mentioned my holiday booking and travel dates, trying to get me to pay £600 extra for premium flight seats. Loads of folks say it’s Tui, but the call dropped after just a few rings. We’ve sorted all the upgrades and it’s all covered, so why waste time hassling us? They’ll definitely get it if it’s really them!

Received a call from 0208 496 8600 today. Normally, my phone shows the company name if it’s a legit call, but this number showed nothing. I used to work at TUI ages ago and have no clue about any telesales team in London! I picked up and they just dropped the call straight away. When I tried calling back, it rang once then went dead. Definitely a scam and spam call. Don't get caught out by these fraudsters.

02084968600 called me claiming to be from TUI, trying to sell me premium seats for my upcoming holiday. I was a bit doubtful but decided to hear them out. They said the seats usually cost £639 each, and since I’d already booked extra legroom at £135 a seat, they were offering these for £900 as a “saving” of £100. I asked why they’d bother calling with such a ridiculous “discount” and then the line just cut off. Not sure if it’s a scam or what.

Said he was from TUI, but I was pretty suspicious even though he knew all my holiday info. Tried to sell me seat upgrades for £250 each way! Didn’t even let me explain I was busy working and that me and my partner decide these things together. Asked for his number - no chance! Too pushy for me. If I wanted to upgrade, I’d just do it online or pop into the store.

Now I'm left questioning whether this was an elaborate scam or just a standard sales pitch from TUI. Naturally, I wouldn’t consider purchasing anything without confirming through the proper channels or the main office, but it does raise a few eyebrows about how they obtained our personal information if it turns out to be dodgy.

I recently received a call from this number, claiming to be TUi. They rattled off my holiday details - everything from my name to my date of birth, and even the dates of my upcoming trip. The caller was pushing a ‘special offer’ for seat bookings and added luggage, but as I had already sorted that out, it raised serious red flags for me. I quickly reached out to TUi after our conversation, only to discover that it wasn’t them at all! What’s more alarming is the agent suggested that it’s possible a former employee had sold off my personal information. Isn’t that just terrific for our security?

It was TUI calling about some upgrades. I picked up as soon as it sounded.

Shows up as the first option. Booked a holiday for next year but I keep ignoring the calls since it’s marked as spam. If it was important, they’d leave a voicemail. I only gave my email on the booking form for questions so I’m not picking up. They’ve called me 6 times over the last three days.

02084968600 called me twice but just hung up. When I tried ringing back from my landline, it only rang once before going straight to not available. If it's Tui, I already have a holiday booked with them and asked to be contacted by email only.

Got a call today from First Choice Holidays (Tui) about our upcoming holiday reservation. They asked a couple of simple security questions like how many people were on the booking and which airport we were flying from. They quickly reassured me everything was fine with the booking and went over the seats, luggage allowance, and accommodation details we had arranged. They also asked if we had any special requests they could help with. At no point did they try to push upgrades or extra services. It was a proper customer service call, which I really appreciated.

This 02084968600 number has rung me a few times, I never pick up since it's probably a scam. Plus they never bother to leave a voicemail or anything.

They called me but I didn’t pick up. If it was something urgent, surely they’d leave a message.

I’ve got a holiday booked with TUI too, not sure why they keep calling me. They’re pushing me to book seats and private transfers, which I don’t really need. I’d much prefer if they just sent me an email instead.

Loads of folks reckon it’s TUI calling, so I’ll wait and see if they ring back. I’ve already got a holiday sorted, but it’s not till next year and I went for the top package, so doubt they’ll be trying to give me an upgrade!

They called me twice in just a couple of days but hung up both times when I picked up. I guess they’re trying to get me to call them back and save on their phone bill! I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call today about a flight supposedly. I didnt wanna answer any security questions so just ended the call since I wasn’t sure who it was. I guess it might’ve been Tui but these calls are so annoying since I get spam all the time. Why cant they just send an email instead?

Just to add to what I said before, this number isn’t some kind of spam. It’s actually TUI’s main office calling about their pre-travel offers. It’s legit because I had a conference call with both TUI’s shop and their head office.

Today, I received a call from someone claiming to be with Tui. My wife picked it up and immediately felt something was off when the caller, Lindsey, mangled our surname-something we've experienced with previous scammers. She mentioned she'd get me on the line to sort it out, but by the time she fetched me, the caller had vanished into thin air. Quite the shocker, isn’t it?

Got a couple of calls from this number, so I looked it up online and gave TUI a ring. They confirmed it’s their office checking in about your holiday and suggesting possible upgrades. So yeah, I reckon this number is alright.

I got a call from this number and they seemed to forget to end the call, leaving a 3 minute long voicemail with sounds of a call centre in the background. I did book a trip with TUI lately, but I definitely won’t be sharing any of my personal info on the phone.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with Tui holidays, attempting to upsell my holiday experience. I decided to hang up on him. When I tried calling the number back, it only rang once before disconnecting. This feels suspicious to me - I would strongly advise against sharing any personal details with them.

Got a call and when I picked up, no one spoke. They’d called before saying they were from TUI, asking me to verify some security questions. I said no way, so they just told me my info anyway. Then they tried to talk about a flight coming up, but we said we weren’t happy chatting about it and they just ended the call.

I received a call from this number yesterday evening, on the 21st of August 2018, around 6.57pm. There was a woman on the other end with a distinct foreign accent. If I recall correctly, she mentioned something about my holiday being "all right and safe," identifying herself as being from TUI, and then the line suddenly went silent. Quite peculiar!

About 10 minutes back, I got a call from someone with an accent, claiming it was about a holiday booking. He mentioned some alterations and wanted me to answer some security questions. I told him I’d already received an email, then he just cut off. Funny thing is, I had an email from Tui (or so it seemed) about flight details supposedly changing, but they matched what I originally arranged. Bit suspicious, or just a coincidence?

About ten minutes ago, I got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent about a holiday I'd supposedly booked. He said there were some modifications and asked to run through some security questions. I mentioned I'd already received an email, then he just cut me off. I actually did get an email from Tui - or maybe it was someone pretending - saying my flight details had been updated, but everything looked exactly like my original booking. Bit fishy, right?

I received a call from someone feigning to be from TUI, inquiring if I’d be interested in an upgrade. Skeptical, I requested some sort of confirmation that they were indeed TUI. Surprisingly, they revealed my holiday date, which gave me a chuckle. Mortified, they promptly ended the call!

Received a call from 02084968600 earlier, the person seemed to know all about our holiday plans and the cabin and deck we’d picked. They tried to get me to pay £48 for an upgrade to a better cabin on deck 6. I declined, then they started mentioning some kind of fast track thing because apparently I’m a “returning customer.” Also offered extra leg room on the flight. Feeling a bit suspicious, so I’m heading to TUI tomorrow to sort this out. Not impressed at all, definitely need to get to the bottom of it.
