Somebody called me claiming to be from Virgin Media saying there was an issue with my internet. They wanted me to press CTRL and R on my keyboard. I told them I wasn’t going to do that live and would check things myself instead. The woman just lost interest and ended the call straight away. Virgin Media? No way it’s them! Definitely a scammer. Don’t get caught out by these sorts. Virgin Media have confirmed they never call out of the blue like that.
