I recently switched to a BT phone and put a block on this number. They keep trying to ring me, but since it’s blocked, they can’t even leave a message. It’s annoying but at least I don’t have to deal with their calls now.

I've been getting calls from 02084334494 too. They claim they're not spammers since it's supposedly just market research and not sales, so they’re not on the TPS list. They even said they’ll keep ringing back just in case someone else picks up who fancies taking their survey. If you’re bored, you might as well humour them with some daft responses!

I'd say just follow my lead and report this to the police, classifying it as harassment because they keep ringing non-stop. Maybe if enough of us make a fuss, the authorities will step in and force these idiots to change how they do things. I really don’t get why these leech companies don’t bother checking the TPS registers before bombarding folks with calls. They should definitely be barred from dialing ex-directory numbers, which clearly aren’t listed anywhere public in the UK. No one wants these pushy sales calls at all!

Absolutely horrible..! They ring non stop, even on Sundays and public holidays. This government just doesn't have the guts to do anything about it. This sort of harassment needs to be ended right now, with massive fines that put these companies out of business. And the directors should be publicly exposed and removed from the companies register for allowing this nonsense.

They keep ringing at weird times, like Monday evening about 6:40pm and 8:40pm, then Tuesday around 8:25pm, and again Wednesday just after 6pm. Tried answering once, but the call hung up straight away. Not sure what they want, but it’s proper annoying. I’m listed on the do-not-call list, so it doesn’t feel like they’re just guessing numbers. If anyone knows a way to get them to stop, I’d be really thankful for the tips.

Got a call on Sunday afternoon, about 2 o’clock. The woman said she was from some government office doing a survey. She asked how many folks lived here, I said two, then she said the computer was insisting she speak to the other person. Bit fishy, if you ask me. I've found that you can ask your phone company to block certain incoming numbers, but they often slap on a monthly fee for it. There seriously needs to be some change ... It's blown my mind that firms can just ring you up out of the blue on your personal phone whenever they like.
